FMS is a world leader in the production of Uni-Directional (UD) fabrics. FMS soft ballistic solutions are produced from a wide range of UD Polyethylene and UD Aramid fabrics. They are the main components for all soft bulletproof and anti-stab vests. FMS soft armour solutions are recommended for NIJ levels IIA, II and IIIA, and for anti-stab protection for NIJ level 1 and 2, providing protection against fragments, handgun bullets and knives. The NIJ level IIIA provides the highest protection rating in soft body armour, minimizing blunt trauma injury.
