Hand-held shields are typically used by Law Enforcement personnel, such as police or special forces. FMS makes hand-held shield panels from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE), Uni-Directional (UD) aramid or ceramic composites, which provide protection up to NIJ level IV. Our ballistic shields are rigidly pressed under high pressure.
These can be finished by the customer to their desired color finish and window etc.
